Taser Device for Self Defense vs Guns

Use a Taser Device vs Gun

A sad story, with a very sad ending for Trayvon Martin and his family. Can you imagine what the outcome would have been if a Taser Device was used instead of a gun?

Taser Device

Taser Device

Don’t you wonder why people are obsessed with guns, and complain non-stop about Tasers, and stun guns? Is it really the case or is it my imagination?

Everyday I read a story about a someone being shot by a Taser device, and to hear these stories, you would almost believe Tasers were the most obscene weapon on this earth. When in fact they are non-lethal weapons, with a 99% effective rate, with a very small percentage of deaths occurring when used correctly, and if the victim is not full of alcohol and drugs. And the sad fact is guns don’t necessarily save you in a dangerous situation.

This case in Sanford, Fla, is a perfect example of the problems which can and do arise from gun use. Number one, Trayvon would still be alive, and number 2 Zimmerman would not be living the life of hell he is now enduring.

We all believe in self defense and if in fact Zimmerman was attacked by Mr. Martin as stated, he had a right to protect himself. I just disagree with his choice of weapon. With the media coverage of this case, and the immediate execution of Zimmerman, gun carrying individuals, will be even more afraid to pull the trigger fearing the same outcome. If your afraid to shoot, how can you protect yourself? Trust me I would be afraid to shoot. I want to carry a weapon I know will save me and keep me out of jail!!

Let’s discuss briefly some benefits of a Taser Device.

1. Easy to carry and conceal

2. Affordable

3. Powerful and 99% effective

Want or need to know more about Taser Devices? Check out our website for all the information available to make a expert choice.

Hidden Cameras Protect Our Seniors

Hidden cameras expose pair who abused elderly

Jordan Day

PoliceTwo abusive care workers have been sentenced after their cruelty was caught on camera by an Ely-based charity.

Elder Protection, which campaigns against abuse and neglect of the elderly, filmed at Dormers Well Lodge care home in Southall, west London, after being told residents were being mistreated.

Hidden cameras caught Sonika Limbu, 26, of Hayes, and Pargash Sahota, 57, of Southall, pushing, whipping, and shouting at dementia sufferers.

Thanks to Elder Protection and a colleague of Limbu and Sahota who had gone to the police, about 60 recordings were supplied to the Metropolitan Police. In one, Limbu can be seen roughly undressing and shouting at an elderly man on a toilet before whipping him with a T-shirt.

The pair had denied all charges but were convicted following a trial in February and have been sentenced at Isleworth Crown Court.

Limbu was found guilty of three mistreatment charges under the Mental Capacity Act and sentenced to 150 hours of unpaid work.

Sahota was convicted of four counts under the same Act and must do 200 hours’ community service.

They were both given a one-year community order.

Ed Mullenger, founder of Elder Protection, who lives in Witchford, urged others to blow the whistle on anybody mistreating the elderly.

“We ensured that this ‘whistleblower’ was cared for by the police and other agencies so that she did not become the victim by doing the right thing,” he said.

“In total eight care workers and the care home manager were removed from the home and replaced with new staff under the watchful eye of the local Adult Protection Unit.

“The most vulnerable residents were moved to new homes to ensure better care.”

Installing Hidden Spy Cameras Not Legal in Bathrooms

Hidden Spy Camera

Hidden Spy Camera

Setting Up Hidden Spy Cameras is not Permissible in Restrooms

When using or installing  hidden spy cameras, be sure you understand where you are legally allowed. Bathrooms, or dressing rooms, is a definite no-no. If you do, and get caught you will land yourself in big trouble. In the eye of the law, that is voyeurism. Depending where you live and what all was caught on tape, and how many victims there were, will depend on your legal troubles.

Installing hidden spy cameras are for legally protecting the home owner, or parent from thievery or abuse, not for pornography. If you think the idea of spying on your guests at a party is a great prank, think again.

A Lake Wylie resident, located in South Carolina, was arrested for installing a hidden spy camera, and filming during a St Patty’s Day party, in the bathroom. A friend of his discovered the camera hidden in a sock in the trash. After taking the camera to the local authorities, this friend, discovered he was also a victim, along with 5 other party guests.

Not only has the man been arrested for voyeurism, but they have confiscated all his computers for any evidence of similar sexual crimes. Sounds like someone needed too spy on him! Let’s pray there is no evidence of child pornography.

Before buying and installing hidden spy cameras, check with your local law enforcement officers, to make sure there are no hidden city, county, or state ordinances, prohibiting such products. It’s always better to be safe than sorry.

Hidden Nanny Camera Captures Lawyer Breaking In Home

Hidden Nanny Camera Reveals an Unlawful Attorney

Nothing surprises me, but this article shows how important it is to install hidden nanny camera. When you can’t trust a lawyer, police officer, coach, or sheriff, it’s past time to take matters into your own hands. This week alone I have read articles, which include all the above, getting caught red handed doing disturbing, unlawful actions, and had it not been for a hidden cameras, we would know none of this.

Here’s the article and video, telling the story about this fine upstanding law abiding attorney. Would love to hear your comments, so if you have time leave me your thoughts.

Newly released hidden surveillance video captured a New Mexico divorce lawyer raiding his client’s estranged husband’s house.

The video shows Raymond Van Arnam and client Melissa Stonecipher breaking into the home of Stonecipher’s husband, Anthony Stonecipher.

Their mission was to get Melissa Stonecipher’s belongings back from the Alamogordo home.

But Anthony Stonecipher had installed cameras around the property and they captured Van Arnam pounding and kicking the home’s front door and later gaining access to the back of the house Oct. 28, 2011.

A temporary domestic order was posted on the front window stating that Melissa Stonecipher needed to schedule a time to get her belongings.

“I was personally angry with what he was doing to my client,” Van Arnam said of Anthony Stonecipher. “He was bullying her and dominating her.”

Van Arnam said he took drastic measures because his client tried again and again to get her property back but her estranged husband wouldn’t give it to her.

Anthony Stonecipher said he was caught off guard during the incident, believing a burglar was breaking into his home, and later left the house in his car but not before getting into a confrontation with Van Arnam, who tapped on the driver’s side window.

“I was beside myself, that an attorney, of all people, would just completely disregard the law and take matters into his own hands, for his client like that,” Anthony Stonecipher said.

Inside the home, the camera captured Van Arnam and Melissa Stonecipher embracing in a hug that lasted nearly 30 seconds.

“Melissa was extremely upset by this sequence of events, extremely upset, and all I was trying to do was calm her down, and reassure her that everything was going to work out just fine, that’s all that that was,” Van Arnam said.

The video then shows Van Arnam ordering furniture to be moved out and taking down “no trespassing” signs.

Anthony Stonecipher drove by the house again and told Van Arnam he was breaking the law by trespassing and destroying private property.

“I would assume that they were thinking there would be no cameras,” Anthony Stonecipher said. “But I really don’t think this whole thing was planned out. I believe they just decided, hey, ‘I’m an attorney, I know the people in this town, and we can get away with this.’”

Van Arnam was initially charged with felonies, which were all pleaded down to misdemeanor criminal trespass and misdemeanor larceny. Van Arnam has been ordered to pay $5,000 in restitution and serve 30 days in jail but is still allowed to practice law.

He’s going to serve his sentence on the weekends so he can keep practicing. Van Arnam was facing anything from a letter of reprimand to disbarment. He was disbarred in 2002 for cocaine possession.

“Judge Gallisini was very reasonable, lenient with us, in trying to come up with kind of a plan for Ray to be able to serve those,” Van Arnam’s lawyer, Todd Holmes, said. “Judge Gallisini had even mentioned the possibility of serving weekends.”

Melissa Stonecipher is on probation for a year after entering a plea to one count of criminal damage to the property of a household memb

He’s serving time but has been able to keep his license!! Check out hidden nanny cameras, they keep you aware.

Hidden Surveillance Camera Uncovers Abuse

Hidden Surveillance Camera Uncovers Abuse to a Handicapped Student by Aide

Once again, installing a hidden surveillance camera, helps detect abuse, this time, it’s a teacher abusing one of her handicapped students.

Don’t you wonder how many instances of abuse take place without our knowledge? Hidden cameras can alleviate the unknown and protect our loved ones.

Read on for the whole story, would love to hear your thoughts about hidden nanny cameras.

Hidden cameras used in abuse arrest of teacher’s aide at handicapped school

  • Lachelle James

School police used hidden cameras to catch a teacher’s aide roughly handling two special needs students in their classroom, according to a report released Wednesday.

Lachelle James, also known as Lachelle or Michelle McCraney, was arrested Tuesday on five counts of child abuse and one count of battery after Clark County School District detectives watched her on hidden cameras.

James, 28, is being held without bail at the Clark County Detention Center.

Her arrest report details what officers witnessed in the classroom at the Variety School for the handicapped.

Late Friday night, detectives installed hidden surveillance cameras in James’ classroom after they heard allegations that the aide was abusing a student. The student and others in the classroom are described in the report as “non-verbal” and lacking the ability to speak or write.

Detectives watched the video and did not see the first student being abused, but they did witness James’ interactions with two other students.

On Tuesday morning, one student was rolling on the ground and flailing his arms until James grabbed the boy and dragged him to the center of the room, the report said. With the boy facedown, James placed a knee into his back until he stopped moving, the report said. She got up, and the boy crawled under a table.

She pinned him four more times, the report said. The last time, she placed her elbow into the boy’s face and grabbed his left arm and pulled it toward her for about 10 seconds, the report said.

When she got up, it said, the boy walked across the room and climbed into a padded container.

Minutes later, detectives saw her shove another boy in the back, grab his face with two hands and pin him against some cabinets, the report said.

School staff use restraining techniques to de-escalate a violent or combative student, and the detectives consulted school authorities on James’ behavior. They viewed the video and said her actions were not appropriate, the report said.

Police arrested James, who told them the first student had attacked her. Police noted in the report that when the boy was pinned down, he was trying to escape .

District authorities suspended James without pay and will fire her upon approval from an arbitrator, a district spokeswoman said.

Again, I would love to hear your thoughts on hidden surveillance camera and if you beieve they are an asset.

Self Defense to Prevent Abuse

Self Defense to Help Prevent Abuse from a Loving Partner

After reading this article, I’m so glad I’m in the business of self defense, so I can help women and men prevent abuse, or maybe worse. Being a victim of domestic abuse, a black eye may not be all you get, as the violence escalates, the threat to  life does also.

This woman’s path to abuse and freedom gives a very clear picture. Read on:

‘I’ll never get over it, but at least I’m free’

A domestic violence victimA domestic violence victim

By Ruth Scammell
Published on Monday 5 March 2012 09:05

It begins with the small things – the way you dress or what you choose to cook for dinner.

It can then escalate into something much, much worse.

Mum-of-two Amy – not her real name – suffered seven years of domestic abuse at the hands of her violent partner.

The extreme physical violence left her with serious injuries including a perforated eardrum and a long-term injury to her neck.

But she’s not alone.

Last year there were 2,503 incidents of domestic violence reported across our area.

Today Amy tells her story to The News, in the hope of convincing others to get out of violent relationships.

‘It’s frightening and incredibly confusing,’ she says.

‘Although you are experiencing the violence and the control, you still experience the nice side of them.

‘You are torn between two people – the violent person and the caring person.

‘The first incident when I called the police was about six months into the relationship.

‘The incident was so severe and my son witnessed it. Neighbours had phoned the police as well.’

Amy said being part of an abusive relationship completely changed the way she lived her life.

‘You end up a bit like a robot,’ she said.

‘It can start with very little things to begin with like the way you might dress or the way you are looking one day. That will have a knock-on effect on your confidence.

‘Then you start to condition yourself into behaving in a certain way and watching what you do.

‘There is always something. When you have got children you try and do everything you can to make it as safe as it can be.

‘That’s why it’s so important to have awareness raising campaigns to see exactly what domestic abuse is. Some people might think it’s normal.’

Amy is concerned that many women might be hiding their abuse from the police.

‘People don’t want any involvement with the police, especially if they have children,’ she said.

‘They don’t want social care in the house. It’s quite controlling and damaging to your self-esteem.’

Although it has been years now since Amy left her partner, she said it’s still very raw and difficult to deal with.

‘It’s a grieving process. It’s about feeling in control of your own feelings.

‘Even now I still have really bad days and I think perhaps it will be ok if I go back.

‘But the other side of me thinks don’t be so stupid.

‘I don’t think it will be something which will ever leave you. It becomes better over time.’

Shonagh Dillon is the chief executive officer of Aurora New Dawn, a Portsmouth-based support service and campaigning centre for women suffering from domestic abuse.

She said that on average, a woman will experience domestic abuse about 35 times before the police are contacted.

‘I have supported a lot of women who have never contacted the police at all or who haven’t used the criminal justice agencies,’ she said.

‘It might be that if their perpertrator is in employment a criminal record may affect his job which would have dire consequences on the finances for the whole family.

‘People do work with services without ever contacting the police.

‘Unless they are at risk of serious harm or murder the agency doesn’t have a duty to forward it on to the police.

‘A lot of people don’t want the police involved at all.

‘Women will move to other parts of the country.

‘Sometimes abuse isn’t just physical. It’s psychological, emotional and it’s about control.

‘There might be some physical violence but that might be part of what they are experiencing.

‘There is always a real shame attached to having to call the police, especially if you have got children.

‘Agencies including the police are working really hard to improve services.

‘I would encourage people to call 999 if they are in immediate danger. There are alternatives. They can call the national helpline or they can call their housing officer. There are lots of other people who they can speak to.’

Shonagh added that financial difficulties could lead to an increase in incidents.

‘The current climate will have an impact,’ she said.

‘It’s an added pressure. With an already-controlling relationship, it can be a ticking timebomb.

‘If you have got two or three children it’s just another thing that people have to deal with.

‘So calling the police might not be an option. Picking up the phone and calling the police or calling anyone is a very brave thing to do.

‘As soon as you say it out loud, it’s happening. That first step can be the bravest but also the scariest because you are admitting that it’s happening.’

Figures received by Hampshire Police show that the number of domestic abuse incidents reported in the past year have actually gone down.

But Det Chief Insp Ben Snuggs fears that this is not an accurate representation, as many women may be too scared to come forward and are putting off reporting incidents to the police.

Det Chief Insp Snuggs said: ‘We would encourage victims to come forward. We want to create an environment where people are supported. We want people to talk to us in the first instance.

‘But it’s very difficult to come to any firm conclusions. We don’t know if it does lead to fewer domestic reports.

‘In general terms it is difficult. In one sense it’s good that less domestic abuse is being reported but we are encouraging people to report offences.

‘So I wouldn’t be alarmed if the numbers had increased.

‘I need to understand why the figures have reduced. Are people less confident in coming forward?

‘Or is there less domestic abuse in the area? That would be excellent news.

‘We are taking a more robust attitude towards offenders.

‘It might be the fact that there are fewer reports because we are better targeting repeat offenders.

‘We understand that domestic abuse is sometimes very difficult to try and see through if you are a victim because of all sorts of reasons.

‘It could be the control that the perpetrator puts the victim under or financial pressure.

‘In terms of the way that the police support victims, we are far more active at that now than ever before.

‘We will always treat a person coming forward with respect and listen to what they are saying so that we can understand and make sure that they are safe.

‘If people are suffering domestic abuse then we have dedicated public protection teams with officers specially trained to provide support.’

This Thursday is Women’s International Day in an event called Building Bridges to Peace.

Women from around the world will gather together on bridges to remember those women that have lost their lives to violence.

A group will gather in Gunwharf Quays at the City Quay Bridge at 5pm and will release 200 white balloons.

Below is the article, tell me having a hidden camera did not protect this woman’s son from abuse.

ALLEN (CBSDFW.COM) – An Allen couple suspected a caretaker was abusing their autistic son. But they had trouble convincing operators of the group home where he was living, as well as state authorities. So they took matters into their own hands, which led to a shocking discovery and criminal charges.

Karen and Michael Hartley secretly placed a hidden camera inside their son Taylor’s room at residential nursing home and documented an alleged beating of the 22-year-old.

“You promise this child when they’re born that you’re going to love them forever and you’re going to protect them,” Karen Hartley said of her love for her son.

Taylor’s autism and physical size, as he grew older, made it difficult for him to stay with his parents.

So Karen and Michael moved Taylor into several homes in east Allen, then operated by Frank Nerkowski.

Within days of living at a home, located in the 800 block of Meadowcreek, the family received a phone call.

“I get a call from our dentist and he says, ‘Karen you’re not going to believe this but Taylor has a compound fracture of his jaw’,” recalled Karen.

Caretaker Michael Fuller and another worker blamed the injury on a fall.

“At first we tried to give them the benefit of the doubt,” Michael said of the situation.

For months the family documented bruises on Taylor’s ears and legs, as well as burns on his arm.

caretaker abuse 1 Parents Use Hidden Camera To Capture Abuse Of Autistic Son(credit: CBSDFW.COM)

After state investigators failed to prove they were the result of abuse, the Hartley’s secretly installed a hidden camera in Taylor’s room in May 2011. Two weeks later, the family saw the video of Taylor cowering on his bed just about every time a caretaker entered the room.

Authorities say Fuller is the person seen on recordings beating Taylor with his fists and with a toy gun Taylor’s mom and dad gave him as a birthday present.

“I’m sitting here watching daytime television and my son is being beat and treated horribly,” said Taylor’s mother, “I feel so guilty we didn’t do the camera earlier.”

Frank Nerkowski manages several residential nursing homes,  owned by his ex-wife, in Allen. He says Fuller no longer works for him and believes Taylor’s behavioral problems contributed to what happened.

“Whatever he did on film was not good,” Nerkowski said about Fuller, “He’s [Taylor] a good kid he’s playful but there’s no discipline whatsoever.”

Fuller appeared in Collin County court last week to face a felony assault charge. His case goes to trial May 14.

Taylor’s parent’s say their son is not only recovering from broken bones, he’s also struggling with a broken spirit.

“He’s just real sad. He’s lost some of the zest for the things he used to enjoy,” Karen said.

CBS 11 News attempted to but was unable to contact Fuller for comment on the allegations.
